Floral Design Parade

I had planned on sharing a new craft I have been working on this week but, time got away from me and here we are at the end of the week and I am still not done!  Life sometimes gets in the way of our best laid plans~~in a good way, of course ;).  I hope to share the finished product next week.  Until then, I thought I would reminisce a bit and share some of my non-wedding floral designs from the past.

~Presenting the Floral Design Parade~

I purchased the flowers for this bouquet at Trader Joes.  I loved the colors together and wanted to play around with them in a bouquet.  It's so vibrant.  I like that :).

You may have remembered my Instagram Photo Shoot a few months ago.  I thought the orange of this blossom was just gorgeous against the gray-greens of the fall.  I am a sucker for seeded euchalyptus too!

This was a fun bouquet made again from grocery store flowers.  The bouquet is one I made a long time ago but I still come back to it time and time again.  I love the daintiness of the design.  It reminds me of Gramma's house.

~Soft and Creamy~that was what I was going for~
Hydrangea, Queen Anne's Lace, Roses and White Burlap

~Much more dramatic.  I seem to go from one extreme to the other!~
Sunflowers, Stock, Alstroemeria, Statice, Yellow Daisy-like Flower and a Little More Burlap

I had so much fun creating this veggie floral arrangement.  For some reason it remains one of my favorites.

I know this isn't the best picture but I wanted to show that simplicity in floral design can be beautiful too.

I included this photo just because these are such a beautiful blossoms :).
~Artichokes, Hydrangeas and Roses~

More simplicity in design

This arrangement was one I made for a friend.  Anemones are among my favorite flowers, as well.

This asymetrical design is another one of my favorites.  It was quirky and sophisticated all at the same time!

Well there you have it--- a Floral Design Parade.  I hope you've enjoyed it!!

*Have a fun weekend~~See You Next Week*
