Announcing Some Exciting News!

Hey, Guys!  It has been very busy in my world lately with the end of summer and the approaching of fall.  Every day this week has been scheduled with something.  My garden club started up on Monday.  My mom had an eye appointment on Tuesday.  Yesterday was a trip into the flower market with a Boston Harbor Cruise in the evening with my husband for a work related function.  On top of all that, I have been working on something exciting and am finally able to share it with you!

Just this week with the help of my friend, Henderson, at bella-b, I have launched a new blog on my company website!  Since often blogging is about sharing what's going on in the blogger's life, I thought I would share this news with you!  I suppose it sounds strange that I am starting another blog when I already have this one but, most of it has to do with owning my own website and blog as opposed to using the Blogger platform where you do not truly own your own content.  I believe if you are a blogger you will understand what I mean.  All of it is good.  Google and Blogger are great and free, which is awesome, and I plan on continuing blogging on this site but, I wanted to take a step in this new direction.  If you would like to visit my website and see the new blog, you may see it here.  I am really excited about my new adventure!

Having said that, I will probably try to maintain the new blog more as a professional one and share more posts that relate to weddings and special events.  This blog, designsandevents.blogspot.com, will continue to be more serendipitous with many topics on miscellaneous subjects with a focus on events, as well.  However, for those of you who know me know that I am kind of an open book and my "more professional" blog will probably contain some personal thoughts and experiences anyway.  I guess we will see!

So there you have it, my new news!  I hope you don't mind me sharing it with you. This month will continue to be busy for me with a wedding coming up (I am doing the flowers), family birthdays, more social occasions but, I hope to be able to check in a few more times and share new thoughts and ideas as the month continues.

Thanks for listening!  I truly appreciate it :).
