Hey all! I am back with Part Two of my How to Add Warmth and Color to Your Fall Home as promised in Part One. I am excited to share some more ideas and suggestions with you today. Thank you for coming back to visit me. I truly appreciate it.
Creating Vignettes at this time of year and, truthfully all times of the year, is an excellent way to bring warmth and color to your fall home. Vignettes can also add whimsy, if that is what you are looking for. Vignettes are fun to create, and they also allow you to use some of those little trinkets you just had to buy but then didn't know what to do with when you got them home. Here are a few of the ones I have around my home right now.
Autumn Themed Pillows and Throws can bring a special kind of warmth and fun to your decor plan. They, or course, can also bring in the fall colors you are looking for this time of year, as well. A simple pillow can change the landscape of a room pretty quickly and easily.
Brightly Colored Faux Fall Stems are a must in my opinion in autumn.
The ones you can purchase now look very realistic and can bring the
outside in.
The colors on these stems are outstanding, I think.
Finally, Battery-Powered Candles add the finishing touches to your fall decorations. I have a few battery-powered candles from Pottery Barn. They were pricey but they are quality items and it is so nice having the candles automatically turn on and look so authentic. To me, they are worth the price even if you have to wait for a sale.
There is one more thing I did this year. I found an old collection of blueberry pottery in
the attic. I decided to incorporate it into my fall decorating scheme. It was nice to
see the collection again and I feel it goes well with the fall decor of my home. If you have a beloved
collection, you might want to use it for seasonal decorating.
I think I have taken up enough of your time. I hope you have enjoyed my ideas and the mini tour of my fall home. Did you feel it was warm and colorful? I know I have other ideas I could share, and I am sure you do, as well, but these are tried and true ones that have served me well over the years.
HAPPY FALL!!!
