The Pictures are in from Kiersten and Chris' Wedding!

Back in September I shared part of my experience of doing the flowers for the wedding of Kiersten and Chris.  If you would like to check out those stories, you can see them here and here.  It appears as though I never totally finished the story.  I meant to, of course, but while I was waiting for the professional photos to come in I think I lost track of time and totally forgot!! Since the professional photographs usually take quite a while to become available to people like me, you know--the florist, I thought it would be a while before I would be able to see them. Well, Kiersten contacted me well before Christmas with the link to her photos but, because of the Christmas season and all that had to do be done for the holidays, I never got around to looking at them until recently.  So....finally I am able to give you a grand tour of the day with professional photographs and all!!

Here are the bridesmaids as they lined up to proceed down the aisle.  I loved the colors Kiersten chose for her wedding.  I loved that she wanted the bouquets to be colorful and flowing.

Here is the lovely bride being walked down the aisle by her dad.

I asked Kiersten to share this photo with me so I could show you the baby's breath arrangements that lined the aisle of the church.

This one showed the lovely couple AND the altar arrangement in the galvanized bucket.  (There were two of these.)

Once the ceremony was over it was on to the reception site~~Birch Wood Vineyards in Derry, New Hampshire.  As you can see, it is a beautiful spot with a lovely vineyard.

I know this picture doesn't really show many of the flowers I made but, I just thought this photo was so artistic, I HAD to include it!

Since Birch Wood Vineyards was such a pretty spot I wanted to show you a bit of the inside, as well.  Most of the remaining photos are mine and were taken long before the guests arrived.

This room overlooked the vineyard and was where the cocktail hour took place.

Each place care was held by a pinecone...a very cute idea!

Kiersten and her mom had decorated the venue with all sorts of  pictures and momentos.  It was a very warm and homey wedding.

Next it was on to the reception hall.  This was the room as it appeared as the staff was getting it ready for the big event!

For my part in the reception room, I merely had to bring the wood slabs (Chris had made them), the little floral arrangements my company and I had made and lanterns that were to sit on top of the wood slabs.  We arranged everything in the center of the tables.

The table markers were added by the staff of Birch Wood Vineyards.

Of course, the festivities were not all about the flowers!!

The happy couple started the night of dancing with an added flare!

And this is where the bride's bouquet spent most of the evening :).

I can not take any credit for this table.  This was all done by the bride and her helpers, I am sure.  I thought it was such a cute idea.  Everyone went home with some homemade jam and/or sundae topping.  What a neat idea!

Don't you just love weddings?!  I love the creativity and individuality of each one!  So much fun!!
