A Wedding With Dahlias in Season Continued

Happy September, Everyone!  Well, it feels like fall is starting to make its presence in my area here in Massachusetts.  It was pretty chilling this morning.  I am still hoping to enjoy one more summer fun-filled weekend before hanging up the old bathing suit this Labor Day weekend.  Fingers-crossed!

Today, I am continuing the story of the wedding I did for Carolyn and Daniel on August 26, 2017.  Dahlias were the primo flower for the wedding and such a delight to work with.  If you would like to see the beginning of the story, you can see it here .

After loading up the SUVs with the flowers, we traveled to Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Once we arrived at the venue, we started delivering the flowers to the appropriate locations.  Carolyn, the bride, was in the bridal room of the venue and came out to meet me in the lobby. She looked beautiful, of course.  She wasn't in her wedding dress yet, but she loved lovely all the same.  Carolyn seemed very excited about the flowers.  I was thrilled!

Bridesmaid Bouquet

Toss Bouquet

This is the Bride's Bouquet.  It contained many Cafe au Lait Dahlias, other dahlias, ranunculus, spray roses, standard roses, stock, dusty miller for contrast and a mixture of greens.  I loved this bouquet!  All the bouquets for that matter!  The flowers were just exquisite!  Thank you Boston Flower Market!

While I was visiting with Carolyn and talking to the venue staff, my staff was quickly placing all the centerpieces in the center of the dining tables.  They were done so quickly; I couldn't believe it!  It was a very easy delivery with lots of help from the venue staff.  A very nice experience for all of us!

We had an extra centerpiece so, we placed it on the card table.

Here is the Sweetheart Table arrangement.  As I mentioned before, I love the "flowiness" of this arrangement.  I like how it cascades down the side of the table.

Finally, we stepped outside to see where the ceremony was to take place.  Isn't this a beautiful scene?!  And, it was a gorgeous day, too!  Just perfect!!

Well, there you have it~~the flower story~~so far~~of Carolyn and Daniel's dahlia wedding.  As soon as I receive the "official" wedding photos from Carolyn, I will share them with you!

Have a fun and safe Labor Day Weekend!!
