A Cape Cod Wedding Ceremony

January is such a dismal month; I think it is time to share more of Erin and Pat's July wedding with you.  This time we will be sharing the ceremony part of the wedding.

Here we are setting the scene for the wedding to come.

The guests were welcomed to the ceremony by this flower-adorned welcome sign.

Erin wanted a hedge of white and blue hydrangea arrangements to line the wedding aisle.  She also wanted a carpet of rose petals.  To the chagrin of the wedding coordinator at the venue, I think we accomplished that!

Erin also wanted two large pedestal arrangements to act as a focal point and to create an altar of sorts for the seaside wedding ceremony.

The guys all lined up and were ready to go!

The groom's parents arrived in full style.

The mother-of-the-bride was escorted down the aisle by her son.

And then, she watched and waited for her daughter and husband to arrive.

Down the aisle came the bridesmaids~

Happy that after a year and a half of Covid, the day had finally come!

Next came Nellie, the couple's beloved dog escorted by a very helpful bridesmaid.

Next came the flower girls~

As the bride and her dad waited in the wings.

Erin was such a beautiful and happy bride.

Pat, her groom, was an emotional guy.

All the months of planning everything, and on my end, the flowers all had paid off.  Everything looked lovely!

These two were the sweetest couple.  I loved working with them!

All the stress was over.  Now it was time for the party!

Erin and Pat were married at the Wychmere Beach Club

in Harwich on Cape Cod, Massachusetts

 in July of 2021.
