St. Patrick's Day Flower Cupcakes

Hey all!  Happy St. Patrick's Day!  I hope you are able to celebrate in a fun way!  I, unfortunately, have been sick for weeks with the flu and the aftermath of it.  Needless to say, I haven't been able to do any fun spring crafts like I had promised and hoped to share with you.  I am going into my archives today to share something fun and that you might enjoy. It is St. Patrick's Day themed so; I thought it was appropriate for the day.  I hope you will bear with me as I try to get over this illness.  It really has walloped me.

I came up with an idea years ago to make mini flower cupcake arrangements.  They were

to act as individual place setting adornments or could be used as a centerpiece placed

in a group. With that idea in mind, I created these wood slice cupcake holders ↓.

 I thought they were adorable!

I simply bought the slices online and wood glued the little pieces together to make the bases

and glued the bigger slice to the base to create the holder.

Next, I set out to make the cute cupcake arrangements.

I put a small piece of oasis in a tiny, tiny plastic container.  Put the tiny container into
two cupcake liners to create the foundation of the arrangement.  I then filled the mini
container with little flowers and adorned the whole thing with ribbon, beads and a felt
shamrock.  I loved creating these!  I think you would too!

As you can see, you can experiment with these little guys and use any combination of flowers to

make a lovely cupcake arrangement.  I think these would be so cute to be used for a

St. Patty's Day luncheon or even a kid's party.

Here it is on the stand~

It makes a nice presentation.

You could even send them home in a cupcake box.  So cute!

And see how pretty they look at the place setting.

I also made the St. Patty's Day cake.  It and the cookie were delicious!

The cookies were store bought.  Perfect for the day!

Enjoy your St. Patty's Day!

I will keep plugging on this end and hope to be back in full force soon!
