Favorite Posts of 2021

It is always fun to look back on the year and see what has interested all of you the most.  So, before 2021 comes to an end, let's take a look back one more time and see your most popular posts from Designs and Events last year.  It just so happens that they were some of my favorites, too.

#1

I don't always get to do everything I set out to do during the Christmas season and last year was no exception.  I had been dying to make a wreath using dried oranges for the longest time.  Last January I did just that.  You will find how I dried the oranges as well as seeing the end result in this post.

#2 was Autumn on a Tray Blog Tour.  I was so very excited to be asked to join in on a blog tour in November.  I was so much fun to collaborate with so many great bloggers.

#3 was Styling a Cabinet in January.  I cleared out all of the Christmas decor and made everything white and beige.  It was a cleaning of the palate of sorts, and you seemed to like it.

#4 was one of my favorites.  It was Making Hearts for Valentine's Day

I experimented with making different kinds of hearts in this post.  My daughter was the recipient of

this yarn heart garland in the end.

My She Shed is my happy place and I shared it here :).

#6 was a post that I shared very recently.  I am so happy you liked it!  It showed some of the Christmas Decorations around the house.

#7 was published in the summer.  I shared the back deck and how I had decorated it.  It is too early to say this but I am looking forward to warm weather at some point soon!

I loved making these cute flower arrangements.  My mom loved hers!!

We are getting down to the last two.  #9 featured the flowers I used for a wedding that I did in August.  The color scheme was different from any other wedding I had done and I thought they were just lovely.

And finally, this was a special post for me because it featured my granddaughter, Julia.  I made wrist corsages for Julia and her friends for their Junior Prom.  It has become a tender memory for me.

Here we are at the end of 2021.  I cannot say that I am sad to see it go.  I am looking forward to better days to come and have a promising hope for the future.  I hope you enjoy the final festivities of the year and that we all come back stronger and healthier next year.  In the meantime, I am going to be working on creating new posts with new material that my wish is you will enjoy even more than this year.  So, until then:

Happy New Year ✨!!!
